Yes, I love wearing the bright colours that suit my colouring and that coat would do just fine. I bought a beautiful jacket last week, the fabric is designed by an Italian artist and it has all the colours I know really suit me, the cut is great too, very flattering. It looks wonderful with a plain pair of trousers or a midi skirt and will also go over a plain dress. I think it will be my holiday jacket as it's light and will travel well. tbh I can't wait to wear it.

I love bright colours 👍I have an old friend who mainly wears beige, no bright scarf or lipstick. No doubt she thinks I am over the top with my colourful clothes. I bought a gorgeous tabard top in crimson recently, made in India, love it.

I suppose it’s because a really nice black winter coat is very stylish & goes with everything. I saw an absolutely gorgeous one in Harrods a few years ago but sadly couldn’t afford the £5000 price tag.

I love it and would happily wear it. My latest coat is black and white with a patchwork of flower patterns. Yesterday I was complimenting a middle aged lady who was shopping in a wonderful long padded coat which was covered in a wonderful multi coloured flower pattern. It looked like the annual Orchid show at Kew.

I have sensible stylish coats, grey one and a black one, but hey ho, colour is fun, and nobody is too old to have fun!

Just checked that Lucuanna - it’s so reasonable too - £35/- hmm … I’ll sleep on it. Do I need another jacket ?

I am so glad you bought it I am another vote yes. I love clothes, although usually found in walking gear and dull waterproofs, my wardrobe contains much sparkle and colour and thankfully my family (mostly) indulge me albeit with the occasional eye roll.

It’s lovely and would absolutely wear it. I’m wearing a gorgeous orange jumper from Oliver Bonas and always go for colour these days (but not on the bottom half, trousers are jeans or neutral colours.)
I love colourful long summer dresses too and can’t wait to wear them.

Since so many Gransnetters absolutely love this colourful coat, I’m just wondering why I never see anyone dressed in a similar style when I’m out and about. Just never see it.
