Elder abuse

I appreciate you don’t want to give too much away but there’s not much to base anything on
Are you talking about physical abuse or money abuse or harsh words or control ? Are you talking about a partner, an adult child, a carer, a neighbour? ….some may even be a police matter
Is it definite ‘ I ve seen a black eye’ or is it ‘he/she doesn’t sound very nice’ or ‘he /she seems different around them

There are so many possibilities all I will say is gut instinct is often correct

for safeguarding worries report to adult social services, they don't need to tell person who it was who made report.

Please report confidentially to Adult Social Services, citing the presence of a "vulnerable adult" - they then have a duty to look into it.

Could you sit down and make a list of all the events that make you suspicious? I say this because of situations are very subtle and a pattern can be found when you group the events together on paper. It may give you some clarity upon which to base your further action.
