Utility Prices going up

I know I'm in exactly the same position as many many others; in a better position than some, too, but how do people feel about these energy rises. I have just got my October rise details.It says I'm entitled to this that and the other, but it still means I'll be paying soooo much more each month. Like others I just about manage. Where on earth do they think we are going to magic the money from. Christmas is coming. It's so depressing, and I'm sure many many others feel the same. This is through no fault of ours. It's just not fair.

I think it’s appalling Trisher and I think it’s not all necessary. I have worked out how we’ll pay and have already adjusted the direct debit to cover it, but I’m worried about further increases in the cost of living.

I’ve just had the prediction for my next year from October 1st, duel fuel, £413, less than I expected, hopefully it’s right.

Wow, makes my quote of £235 dual fuel seem very reasonable! I’m coming off a fixed term where I paid £94 a month and am currently £265 in credit with my usage lower than last year. With the £400 rebate over the next six months, I feel more confident that I can have the heating on as much as I did last year and not worry too much about cutting back - although I was careful with the central heating last year.
