Any takers for as-new leggings, one leg 3 ins longer than t’other? (light-hearted thread)

They'd be quite useful to me a I have one leg half an inch shorter than the other...or is that I have one leg half an inch longer than the other

I have to return them with a pre-paid label that has been

Puzzler You could roll one leg up and have people think you are a member of a secret society and are trying to signal something of great importance ????

Assuming that you haven't sent the faulty pair back, could you shorten then to calf length? At least you'd get some service out of them.

PS Charley unfortunately my legs have done all the growing they are going to (and they’re still short) ?

Oh dear Nell there is little entente cordiale between our countries it seems ☹️ A tumble drier that can burst into flames is definitely not worth keeping!

I agreed with him that I should have looked at them more carefully before washing, but he has agreed to supplying replacement leggings which I will measure before washing.

Puzzler did the stupid woman expect you to say you had boil washed them? Shrinkage after wash, maybe, growing an extra 3" on one leg- surprisingly no. Are they going to replace them or will you be waiting for the relevant leg to grow longer?

I once bought a tumble drier that had issues, rang the manufactures helpline and described the problem and was told "It's that dirty French electricity, it's not as good as ours and can cause problems with electrical items"

It's not often I'm rendered speechless! Needless to say the TD was one of those prone to spontaneously combusting so we got rid.
