some great advice here - she is one of those who says what other people think. We went to the cinema with her once, years ago, and she remarked in a loud voice on the woman in the next row who was munching on popcorn 'no wonder she's the size of a house!'. We haven't taken her since. The grammar thing is quite funny - she has a very broad Yorkshire accent, which is fine, but she tells me that EVERYONE has been saying how bad it is to pronounce 'drawing' wrong. I am trying hard to think of her good points...She wouldn't go on Gransnet - she is still trying to get her head round texting and sending an email...I will continue to be tolerant and try to ignore her.
