You can add all your income and outgoings and there is also a useful cash flow graph to plan ahead.

Another supporter of Excel spreadsheets. You can design it to be just how you want it.

I have looked at budgetting software, but they never do exactly what I want in the way I want to do it.

Me too ilovecheese. Works for me so I don’t plan on fixing it . There are volunteer IT helpers at our library nortsat who are there for a chat about anything technical and will set up spreadsheets if asked. If your area has anything similar that could work. Other than that I’m not sure. There will be someone along with techy knowledge who can help more I’m sure. Good luck.

I would stick with pen and paper!

I use Excel its brilliant for keeping track but you do need to learn how to set up a spreadsheet - one of the best things a junior colleague taught me some years ago.

why not use an Excel spreadsheet? or if not Excel, Open Office, you can play around with it and have it do exactly what you want, plenty of online guides 'how to'
