Nice N'Easy permanent hair colourant - The new version

I used it and found it covered very well. Does stain the skin quite badly though. One thing is it left my hair feeling very greasy Took a few washes to get it feeling normal again The old version didn't have this effect. HTH

I haven't tried the new version yet and I admit to wondering if I was buying the wrong product initially.

I have used Nice and Easy for decades and was a tad worried about using the new version so I am pleased to read this thread.

I will be 'doing my roots' in a couple of weeks time so will watch to see if any more comments are put on the thread.

I think it was the new product that I used last time, and despite buying the same shade as usual, my hair turned out quite a bit darker. However, it has gradually lightened over the weeks, and hasn't gone orangey-coloured in the sun, which has happened in the past, so I am quite happy with it.

60s I think..."Nice 'n' Easy, the first colour shampoo in, that looks like it grew in" so the advertisers said.

If they have changed it in any way then please do your patch test carefully. It is so easy to rush this test or not do it if you have used the product many times with no allergic reaction.
I no longer colour my hair but I used to skip this step many times

I've used it twice now, and found it was fine. A nice light blonde colour and left my hair soft and shiny. I didn't have any skin staining, but I am always quite careful when applying it.

Rub Vaseline around hair line before colouring hair, this will help to prevent hair colour staining skin.

I used it for the first time on Monday. I tried Dark Blond as my usual Natural Dark Blond doesn't seem to be available any more. First difference I noticed was that there is a tube of white cream to add to the 'shaking bottle' - but it mixed together with a good shake, no problem.
The applicator is the same. The colourant remained white for quite a while which was rather concerning, but it did eventually darken.
Timings were the same as for the old product.
After rinsing it off, I noticed there was some skin staining on the hairline so I will be more careful next time. Just checked and the staining seems mostly gone now, that would be from water rinsing the skin during my showers.
The colour is similar to the previous one, coverage good and my hair feels soft so I shall use it again. I am pleased with the result.
