Dental treatment in Europe costs and risks

I don't know about other countries in Europe, only France.
Here the standard of treatment is very good and uptodate. But the charges aren't much different from those in the UK, outside of the NHS.

Our french dentist used to say dentistry in France is 10 years ahead of the UK. To be fair, everything we had done over there is lasting well and I can't remember it being over-pricey.

It doesn't matter if you can't speak to the dentist because who wants to talk when he is prodding around your mouth anyway?

All very well but, if you live in rhe UK, a trip to put right any little niggles could be pricey.

I know, it is a bit nerve-wracking thinking about having all that work done

My neighbour goes to Poland to get her teeth ( and hair ) done, She is at an advantage as she is Polish, but she claims they all speak English and it is less than 50% of the cost. I have just had extensive dental work done which cost £3k ( gulp) but she claims would be £300 in Poland.
I still think it was better to get it done here as I needed 6 different dental visits so over a 6 month period - how much would that have cost in airfares and accomodation ?
