Making a hardback cover for a leaflet

Did it have elastic down the spine I wonder?
Just trying to imagine it...

I'm not quite sure what was made to hold your service leaflets .
We have two available - one in normal print and on in large print .
I must admit that a lot of page turning occurs and sometimes they get dropped onto the floor .

Why not have a Google ?
It's always inspirational .

I think Basire if you check out journaling on the You Tube you will see lots of fabric/paper hand made book crafts.
The examples I've seen are gorgeously decorated with beautiful detailing - something to aspire to in the world of crafting for sure

Thank you. I realise I wasn’t very clear, I’ve been finding it difficult to describe and so difficult to Google.
Let me try again. The booklet appears to be sewn into a hardback cover. The cover varies from leaflet to leaflet and is hardback laminate appearance with what looks like acceptable looking tape around the spine A5 size.

So is it a one-use only cover? If the inner is sewn in?

Yes. One use. It probably does a hard back sown n cover. But how is it done?

Is it really sewn in or just glued? There is a book making process which is similar to the system we used when I was at school to back our books with brown paper or wallpaper, but you put pieces of cardboard each side to make a stiff cover.

I think it's fairly clear that this could be adapted to use a leaflet instead of plain paper.

Do you think they might have laminated it then added the cover to or? I was just thinking the laminate might have been slipped in ?

This looks saddle stitched to me with the outer covers made separately and then glued on.
If I wanted something like that I'd use a cotton tape over the hinge.
