Half cross Annie nd usually on 10 hpi canvas, so quite large holes to get the tapestryneedle through and easier to see that aiada fabric for silk/cotton threads. Herman have a huge selection of different projects and their kits come fully complete with fabric, will, needle and charts. Here's a link....

I cannot master crochet, have spent ages following instructions for left handlers on uTube,

I didn’t know Anchor did tapestry with wool, one more question please, is tapestry done cross stitch or half stitch ?

crochet? My husbands late Granny had the most awful arthritis in her hands they were all twisted with it.She loved to crochet and seemed to manage very well even with the state her hands were in.She used to crochet small blankets for the SCBU's near to her ,did small squares and then sewed them together. They were lovely and much appreciated by the staff and the parents who all took one home with them when baby left hospital

Can’t manage knitting MOinca , needles too difficult to hold

How about knitting? Wool and needles come in all sizes and thicknesses and will probably be more suitable for athritic hands than tapestry, which requires you to use, even at its largest, quite a fine needle.

Some here. The long stitch ones look great! www.sewandso.co.uk/category/tkt-all-tapestry-kits?TRE00049

My mum is 91 and arthritic so she now does some large-hole cross stitch. I'll try and find a link to the kind of things she does,

I have to finally give up cross stitching, arthritis in hands and low vision. I am sooo bored. Thought of tapestry , wool much thicker and canvas have much larger holes, but -
Have looked on line , saw cushions and some kits which seem to be cotton threads .
Would tapestry be kinder to hands and can someone recommend a site selling tapestry kits
Thank you
