I have just read the FAQ section on the website. I think it is probably a well thought through production.

"One of the aims of The Family Sex Show is to promote safeguarding. It has been made with the understanding that informing young people about their rights and bodies is a key aspect in sexual violence prevention."

I was quite concerned about some of their information on safeguarding I would like to know what training/qualifications they have relating to safeguarding .

Also seems to have worked with NSPCC in the development of the production.

I don't think naked dancing is going to give much credence to the idea of safeguarding.

I think it sounds prurient.

Small children seeing Mum or Dad naked and answering questions honestly and simply is one thing but this production appears to go far beyond the normal level of interest and awareness of most small children.

Galaxy it says that they are trained re safeguarding in case there are disclosures

The period when some of the actors are naked is less than 5 minutes. It is not an on stage orgy.
As I have not seen it I don't know but could imagine it could be done very well.

They dont say they work with the NSPCC do they? They say in line with NSPCC research which is a very different thing.

I have no where said it is a state orgy, I am sure someone somewhere planned the rainbow monkey which broke all safeguarding guidance.

I’ve just been talking about the Mary Whitehouse documentary, on another thread.

I’m sure this would have horrified her. We didn’t know this, but apparently it was her campaigning and hard work which basically prevented paedophilia becoming lawful!

Are we just going deeper into depravity with this? What on earth are we doing to our children?

I knew woman who allowed her children to see her and her boyfriend naked, would openly talk about her sex life in their presence and admitted to me that the children sometimes wandered into her bedroom when she was having sex - her 7 year old son was caught simulating sex with a 3 year old girl!

I am all in favour of teaching children about staying safe, but can't they be allowed to enjoy a childhood - they will ask questions when they are ready

Some MPs got unwittingly mixed up with it, Harriet Harman and her husband Jack Dromey and Patricia Hewitt I think.

I doubt that Hattie Harman would have been in favour of lowering the age of consent, they had left the group before PIE evolved I thin.

Yes, that's the thing with sneaking these kinds of things in, people do start to almost normalise it.
