Her name isn't Kate Middleton, it is the DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE. And how dare she open her mouth? What is the world coming to?!!!

One minute we moan that they are far removed from the general public the next that they are being too "normal" do we want them to stand ram rod straight without a glimmer of a smile, no? Then we have to accept facial expressions. Surely she is behaving naturally. It was appropriate for the moment. Don't forget journalist are poised with cameras that take multiple photos a second so capture every expression.

Agreed, honestly!?! I can't believe I am reading this thread!

I’m so glad I’m not famous and that no one wants to photograph me. It’s a sad day when all we have to criticise about is whether the DoC or KM or anyone else has their mouth open when smiling, more often than l would like. Now if she was eating with her mouth open, I’d happily join in complaining. School dinner time with primary is the stuff of half chewed nightmares.

Appropriate subjects are lace, kittens and floral arrangements...but never in the presence of men as they will want to talk about important things that will go over your pretty little head.

Would the paparazzi take pictures of her with her mouth buttoned? There have been times such as her appearance on the Palace balcony with the Queen on Remembrance Sunday when it would be inappropriate to smile and she doesn't. Most photos of the Duchess are taken when she is enjoying herself and smiling at the people she is with. She has a joyful smile and a lovely set of teeth. What a great addition she has proved to be to the Royal Squad.

He's obviously treading on dangerous ground - just don't go there, William ( aka Duke of Cambridge)

He'll learn. Although it takes some longer to learn than others.

I think that certain jobs require similar skills and I'd include acting, teaching and carrying out Royal duties amongst them.

I suspect Kate does a good ‘look’ when the children, or William, are in danger of getting it wrong

The papers choose which photos to print. They have a picture editor.
The photographers will have taken dozens, if not hundreds, of the things at one event.
The ‘mouth open ‘ pics will have been chosen for being more dynamic.
It is nothing to do with the DoC

Just think how many photos they have to choose from.

I've seen numerous pictures of Kate Middleton. Sometimes she's smiling, sometimes she's laughing, sometimes she's looking calm or serious. She always looks beautiful and appropriate to the occasion.
Can't understand the issue here.

It says that I think that the RF think they are different to us and that they have blue blood.

Other people will think differently, I'm sure.

Most of my ancestors were farm labourers, so I guess in a way we were peasants
