I'm off to a double birthday party. It may be mistaken for a Brexit party.

Leavers and remainers will be there. As the decision to leave has already been made 'remainers' seems the wrong term now. What will they call themselves?

My friends and family voted both ways. We respect each other's views, of course, as always (doesn't happen on GN, though, does it?).

Boeuf bourguignon here followed by tiramisu. French wine and some foreign cheeses.
Just pleased it's all finally decided, though not sorted for years.

Apart from Opal, you all seem a miserable lot. Worry not, the sky isn't about to fall down!

I shan’t be ‘partying’ although I will tune in to hear what Boris has to say at 10pm. And I must say the spectacle of all those Union flags on Pall Mall was a stirring sight!

Upwards and onwards. I shall look out for a commemorative 50p coin to keep as a souvenir ...

I'm with Opal and Hetty. Yes, down here in the South West there will no doubt be a lot of people celebrating (ducks under table to avoid abuse).

Oh yes we will certainly stay up and cheer at 11pm when despite everything possible being done to thwart the will of the majority, we are finally leaving.
