AIBU to be a bit miffed about the cost

Presumably frida the warranty only covers parts?

I think there has been a lot of discussion about these extended warranties which generally conclude that they are not worth it. We had a new kitched from John Lewis so all the appliances were new and it would have cost a fortune to extend the warranty on them all. We didn't and only had one repair in 5 years which cost a lot less than the warranties would have done.

Why are you paying anything if it is under warranty? I thought it had been established that large white goods should last five years.

of washing machine repair? My washer is 4 years old and is going to cost £11O to have it fixed!! This is by H***oint under their 5 year parts warranty, the local repair shop quoted £140 for the same job!
