My dear 4 year old granddaughter spends one day a week with me. We do loads of artyfarty stuff and are very close. She misses me but has come up with a very creative way to deal with it. She instructs her mum to be me (aka Nana); today they have been making soup and this is the message her mum has sent me:
'I've had to be Nana all morning!!
I just said to [her] is the soup looking ok?
Her reply. .. "Yea Nana it's looking really good. Thanks for inviting me."
