I can quite see being a Grandparent is not always easy, and even though it can be a challenge I'm sure no one would change it.
I just want to say how very blessed DH and I are this year with our new, only and unexpected DGS. It has quite simply transformed our lives and our Christmas. Seeing my 40+ DS fall in love with his DS is one of the sweetest things I've experienced.

Lovely! My youngest DS and DIL brought their young daughter into the world in September. I have 6 other step DGCs and have been called Grannie by them all and accepted as a Grannie, but there is something special about this new little girl.

Isn't it amazing GrannyMac? Same thing happened in my family, son 40+ had only ever cared about his business activities (as far a I knew!) and produced a son with his partner and I've never seen such an absolutely doting father! I cannot believe how he has changed. Enjoy! smile
