Everyone is born with a magic thing allotted to them and which lasts their whole life.

DD2's thing is a small roll of selotape that never runs out.
Mine is a lip salve (the original, unscented!) that is always in the right (correct) pocket.

You?

Batteries that never need recharging, literally not personally.

A tape measure that miraculously appears when I need it. I have several, but always have to scour the house to find one.

Gagagran Thu 25-Dec-14 10:26:16

Would it be too mercenary to say a purse always full of £10 notes? If so, maybe it could be a vase always full of lovely flowers.

Grannyknot Thu 25-Dec-14 13:35:29

Clean sheets on the bed every day.

NfkDumpling Thu 25-Dec-14 13:59:52

House and car keys which are always where I expect them to be.

Fresh tea in the teapot and a milk jug full of skim milk

janerowena Thu 25-Dec-14 21:05:23

annodomini Thu 25-Dec-14 22:00:01

Unlimited books for my kindle.

Marmight Thu 25-Dec-14 22:14:26

A 'little man' who would be on call to do all the DIY jobs I can't manage; I would even let him bring me a cup of tea in bed every morning - that's all tchwink

Galen Thu 25-Dec-14 22:51:18

Gary the Gardner/handyman is 6' 2"
Is that little?

appygran Fri 26-Dec-14 13:14:45

A sewing needle that never needs rethreading and always contains the correct colour.

rubysong Fri 26-Dec-14 20:00:01

My specs always where I can find them.

AlieOxon Fri 26-Dec-14 20:08:55

(My handybloke is 5' 3".....definitely a 'little man'...)

I'd like the ability to sleep thorough the night, every night!

After faffing around this morning trying to find the right sized container for freezing stuff in, I would like to have an organised drawer/cupboard/box that always provides, immediately, the perfect container with a lid that fits which is already labelled, and then, awaiting in the freezer, the perfect space into which the container will fit.

A pen which writes beautifully in any position and all conditions, even if the user is cold or tired.

Agus Sun 28-Dec-14 16:26:43

Coffee pods and Demerara sugar.
