Well I am an addict and proud of it! Love it all even the boring bits and now love Ambridge Extra.......I believe I am not alone either????

Richard was the local GP - he was going out with Usha when he and Shula had a fling - he was suppporting her with Daniels juvenile rheumatoid arthritis - now I've remembered all that without googling - sad or what?

suzied Tue 07-Apr-15 21:04:16

Who is Richard? Another ghost from the past I guess.

Nelliemoser Tue 07-Apr-15 14:43:07

Woops! sorry Sara4 I missed your post.

Nelliemoser Tue 07-Apr-15 14:41:27

Hazel was Jack Wooleys adopted daughter I believe, (or the adopted step daughter) I am not certain now. She is not a very nice person at all and has rarely visited him.

shysal Tue 07-Apr-15 14:01:45

Alistair has not been heard for weeks, and now Richard makes a re-appearance. Ooh-er!
I only listen to the omnibus, but have just read the newsletter, so only know that he appeared at The Messiah. hmm

sara4 Thu 02-Apr-15 03:24:08

Hazel is Jack's adopted daughter her mother was his second wife. I think she was equally as horrible. It is explained on the web site list of characters.

Thanks Lilygran
She mentioned her daddy and his headstone and I couldn't for the life of me fit her in anywhere.
The programme has moved on since I was a regular listener 60+ years ago, it was all Dan and Doris then......very uncomplicated.

annodomini Tue 31-Mar-15 10:22:13

She was heard long ago, so has probably been played by more than one actor.

Lilygran Tue 31-Mar-15 10:17:49

Hazel is Jack Wooley's daughter. I think she was an invisible Archer until recently.

Juliette Tue 31-Mar-15 10:04:01

Can someone please tell me who Hazel is and where she fits into the scheme of things?
Just caught a snippet of the omnibus edition....the encounter with Peggy. Was a bit confused

shysal Tue 31-Mar-15 09:21:18

How sad! I recognized all the quotes on the Plarchers! Perhaps I should get out more.tbusmile

Gracesgran Tue 31-Mar-15 08:53:39

Lilygran Mon 30-Mar-15 10:21:58

Does anyone remember the American television series called Soap? Ambridge hasn't had an extra-terrestrial yet.........

Mishap Mon 30-Mar-15 09:42:21

Yum yum!

Anya Mon 30-Mar-15 09:05:20

A sperm diner shock

Iam64 Mon 30-Mar-15 08:43:08

I think Helen used a sperm diner nelliemoser (as annodomini just said) Adam is in one of his self righteous moods at the moment and if he gets wind of the fact Charlie is paying Ed Grundy to keep his mouth shut about problems with flooding/hedging etc, maybe that will dampen his ardour grin

Is Jess's baby Robs? Will Rob be able to cheat a DNA test. Is Helen daft enough to continue her submissive wife approach to her relationship with Rob. When will Kirsty and Pat remind Helen there's more to life than washing dishes and that the shop needs her

annodomini Sun 29-Mar-15 16:56:57

Didn't Helen use Ian as a sperm donor?

Nelliemoser Sun 29-Mar-15 16:06:11

It was only just last week though when I heard Rob had agreed to a DNA test did it come back to me. Rob's reaction earlier in the year when dear Helen confided how upset she was about Adams infidelty put me on alert right away. Helen is very fond of Ian.

It was just an enormous plot hint from the very clever script writers.
Having stuck my neck out on this I must wait and see. Only those who heard that episode will have even picked up on that one.

I am now taking bets on how Adam will respond. If it comes to it will Adam agree or not.

Mishap Sun 29-Mar-15 15:24:12

Very devious Nellie - we wait with bated breath to see if you are right!

Just a warning that there may be SPOLERS for the webchat on Tuesday.

merlotgran Sat 28-Mar-15 23:00:07

That's brilliant, Nelliemoser grin
