It was great to see everyone this morning. I haven't laughed so much in ages!
Looking forward to the next get together and hope that Hilda and glassortwo can make it too. (I went through something very similar with my mum a few years ago so I can really empathise with you).

I’m thinking it would be nice to meet up next week (week beginning 27th November).

I know this is short notce and everyone is busy this time of year - I won’t be able to make it until after 13th December if we don’t get together next week.

Happy for suggestions on where to meet - Heighleygate, Dobbies or somewhere further afield.

As ever, anyone who hasn’t joined in our local meetup is very welcome to join us.

So sorry Jane, I can't do the 27th. I'm going to Harrogate on the 28th for a few days, and to take in the Country Living Christmas Fair. My DH and I try to go every year. I might make a meet-up one day.

Thanks for your good wishes Jane. Baby arrived on Wednesday at 2.35 am, five days early and only 90 minutes from arrival at hospital! He is gorgeous.
Christmas preparations have gone a bit haywire as we were looking after the 2 year old from Tuesday night and thought we would have a bit more time until baby arrived!

I will pencil in the 9th January for a get together.

The car is making funny noises so I daren't drive it very far!!! It's going into the garage for investigation tomorrow so I could do Thursday if I can get to you on public transport. Bus is best, it's free!

Hi Jane, meeting in Morpeth would be nice. We could scope out some other meeting places. The only drawback is that it's my fasting day so it's coffee only for me. I do the 5:2 with my son and he's the chief cook so if I change my day, he has to as well or I won't get fed at teatime!
