when I'm doing a flying babysitting trip today til Sunday but doubt if if I will have a moment free as DS2 is moving house, otherwise I would have arranged to meet .Might spot anno at the airport though!

So far, we have anno, Ginnytonic, Iam64, Grammar, Hummingbird, Seasider, Nelliemoser, Sewsilver and me, and both Maniac and Grannylin have wanted to join us if they happen to be visiting the north-west, so there's an open invitation, just in case. A definite 9, though.

Friday sounds good to me. Once numbers are firmed up, I can book a table. Hope 12:30 for table sounds OK. I will get there 15mins before the agreed time - may have to partake of a glass of wine while waiting

Hey - this is sounding good. I'm back from holiday on 28 May, and can do any of the days wheni'm64 suggests. I do work about half a day a week, but currently have nothing in on those days. So, I can fit in with what's best with everyone. I only joined gransnet a couple of weeks ago, after lurking for a while. Looking forward to a get together

Hi everyone. Have been waiting for more suggestions, but if no objections we could go with the Bolton venue, Tavern on the Hill, which is very near the M61 and easier for those Gransnetters who live north and west of Manchester. It's less than half an hour from my house, which is near Manchester airport. We could choose a venue further south or east of Manchester next time.

Could we confirm this is ok and agree a date? How about either Wednesday 29 May, Thursday 31 May or Friday 1 June, all of which seem to be free for most people?

Hi When, I'd love to come to the next meet-up, but it will depend on the date. (We're looking after our grandchildren - some of the time up here, and sometimes down in Buckinghamshire - for a few weeks, so I'll come if I can.)
