I put my grandchildren on Cobweb Patrol with extra long father dusters, we have very high ceilings, and off they go all 5 of them aged between 9 and 3! Totally adorable.

What I find really interesting is that many of the posters who are in high dudgeon don't even read the post above theirs which points out it is a joke.

Oh ReadyMeals did you actually read your own post?... do you honestly think that a little 2 yr old..basically still a baby...would have the thought capacity to do that? Children LOVE to copy adults..give them a duster, some boxes to sort, or some water to pretend to wash up their little pots, and they'll be amused for hours...
Please don't ban your little grandson..poor little soul..and you don't know what a loss that would be to yourself too...and all totally unnecessary. ?

Tallking of fluff (or 'oose' as it was called in our hoose) now that our feathered friends have nesting on their minds, we occasionally put a little tumble dryer fluff out between the slats on a patio chair.

I would really not mind what my little granddaughter chose to do when she visits our home. I love every moment that I spend with her. She isn't yet 2 and I just love watching her, hearing her chatter and playing whatever game she wants, even if it is just tipping out the contents of boxes and saying ' uh oh' and laughing! I see her about once every 10 days on average for a couple of hours at a time. Occasionally for longer if my DiL needs me to mind her for a bit - and that's mostly in her own home. I am just enjoying her in a way I felt unable to do so much with my 3 boys as they grew up.

Buy him his own dustpan and brush, and maybe a duster, some rubber gloves, a lawnmower, etc. By the time he is 3 you could put your feet up!

I think the DGS should be put on the naughty step for upsetting granny.

I’ve just checked, Jalima, and no they don’t. There aren’t many, but they’re split between the “please tell me you’re joking” and the “yes of course she is” camps too. You’ve certainly got people guessing, Readymeals!
