I have m.e. so the warmer weather of summer makes me feel so much better. This is my grandsons first year of school so looking forward to spending time with him in the summer hols,

I love sitting out in my garden early in the morning with my first cup of tea of the day, listening to the birds sing and feeling the sun on my face

I hate nightimes when it's far too warm and stuffy to sleep.

Best thing about summer is unquestionably free concerts on the sea front every weekend and music festivals. Worst thing is that the children have l-o-n-g summer holidays, get bored and Granny and GrandDad have to try and keep them amused for the periods that parents are unable to get leave during the kids school hols. My children try their best but none of them get anything like six weeks holiday to be with their children.

The best things about summer are warm days spent working in the garden and the sight of washing blowing on the line. The worst thing is the flies which enter the house through the open doors.

Favourite is long sunny days, but I hate the hot nights when opening a window seems to make things worse.

Favourite thing:
Eating meals and having a cuppa outside in the garden is wonderful,
Least favourite thing : the dreaded hayfever.

Best favourite thing light mornings and hearing the birds singing on our morning dog walk.
Least favourite thing is the thunder storms when the weather has been to hot.

Sunshine, and lots of it. Hours spent relaxing in the garden, with family is my favourite thing to do.

Gnats, and wasps irritate. Caterpillars, slugs and snails that scoff the flowers trying to bloom, are (wait for it) bug bears of mine!

Overall, Summertime is Funtime!

I love having the door open all day so the dogs can wander in and out as they please as usually they ask to go out as I settle down with a coffee.
My least favourite is that the midges come and start biting before I am ready to go inside.

Best thing: the smell of honeysuckle. The worst: being bitten by midges.

My favourite thing is the warmth - I can't stand being cold and think I need to live in the warmer climate!
My least favourite thing is people putting on the air conditioning so it is too cold when you are wearing lovely summery clothes!

Long days in our typical English summer weather, I love these times to spend time with family & friends.

I love summer because I love going out in the garden and countryside to see what has changed from day to day and picking fresh flowers, fruit and vegetables. I love picnics and eating outside but

I don't enjoy BBQ food in the summer. I really don't see the point when the meat can be cooked so much better in the kitchen.

My favourite thing about Summer is the long days and the sunshine. My least favourite thing is when the nights are hot and sticky and I can't sleep.

I love that we can spend so much more time outdoors but I don't like hot sticky nights when I can't sleep.

being able to enjoy some nice warm dry weather, leaving the heating off & drying washing outside, the downside is the traffic jams!

The light late evenings, lovely for sitting in the garden, with a book, and a glass of wine.
But hate getting bitten by gnats, they really spoil my summer.

getting to the beach late evening time with the family is the best bit and the worst must be insects, ( although i love bees and butterfly's)

Best thing about summer is the warm weather, the worst is having to work for most of it!
