I was also a bit confused, so I copied the url of my recipe page and pasted it in the box. I am sure that didn't actually work as a link though. I am not great on technology so let's hope someone comes up with the solution.

COPPAS ...has anyone tried to enter this competition? After you've gone to the bother of writing out your recipe and filling in your details it adds you to supply an http:// address for the recipe.

How on earth is that supposed to work?

Thank you, grannyknot, a pity they couldn't print all of the short-listed tea towel designs - the others all appealed to me for different reasons and I would have liked one of each.

Gransnet has thousands of members you'll rarely hear of. I know a couple myself who will never post on discussion forums because it's not their sort of thing, but they still enjoy logging on to see what others have written or looking for tips and information. And of course, entering the competitions! Congratulations to all winners.

I agree Aka , I think there must be some "members" who just enter the competitions, which seems a shame. When I look back at the OP on this thread, it makes me remember that I have been here since the beginning!

I got the set of Penny Dreadful books I've won on Friday, they are perfect for my granddaughter thanks so much..

It sometimes takes ages for a book to come through. I thought When the Mountains Echoed would never arrive.

phoenix 'O' was a tricky one! 'Outstanding' would def have been better, but alas, too late now! As for the definition of 'Ordinary'... my dictionary says 'of the usual kind, undistinguished'... hmmm, this has got to be me, as I'm sure it doesn't apply to any other G'netters!

Thanks, Joy the idea was mine, but the execution of it was down to Mr P !

I was trying to show the range of G'netters (politics, history science, I had hoped to include a book showing House & Home and include the wine, cake etc to try to cover the broad base that is Gransnet, however I think Mr P did a great job!

Well done Joy your design was great, although I think you could have replaced "O" (ordinary Gran) with perhaps "Outstanding Gran" Define "Ordinary"?!!!!

Are any of us "Ordinary"?
