And I like all the books with the Witches in and I loved the ones with Tiffany Aching the witch. I have read them all many times. Don't like dressing up very much and as for being Scarlett how are you going to get that tiny waist?

My youngest cat is called Greebo ( he's also known as Mummy's Baby in a Granny Ogg sort of way) Granny Weatherwax is a tempting idea, but I have a horrible feeling that I'm more of a Magrat (If her mind was any more open it would be a field)
I think my favourite books are Mort and Soul Music but they are all a joy.

Oh yes, hilda, Nanny Ogg is a good choice - I love the way she can always find a son to do the heavy lifting and a daughter to do the housework. (Where have I gone wrong?). the luggage would be very handy, but a bit frightening, don't you think? You wouldn't want to look at it the wrong way. I like Interesting Times too, but think my favourite is Pyramids (even though it doesn't have witches).

when, we got Wyrd Sisters by accident, from a book club. That started me off. My favourite book is Interesting Times. I love the "wizzard" Rincewind, and "the luggage".

You should broaden your reading, jingl. They read "Equal Rites" on Woman's Hour years ago (it was still in the afternoon) and that got me started. I cannot believe that I am the only GNer who reads Terry Pratchett.

I've just realised that I don't need to dress up at all. The giveaway book I received last week "I Love My Granny", has a granny that looks exactly like me according to my dgs, and he's right, even down to the pink specs!

I would like to dress as Granny from Gangsta Granny, all in black with the balaclava and mobility scooter.
GD loves this story and it set her off wondering whether her Grandma had jewels hidden in a tin. We went through the house and found an old box in the bottom of a wardrobe, lo and behold it was full of necklaces and bracelets. She thought it was the story come true and I was surprised at the forgotten jewellery find

I think I'd be Scarlett O'Hara too, as she got things done/got her own way, by sheer guts or guile.
